There are some things I really love. One of those is when I go to pet my cat on the head, and right before I make contact he folds his ears down in anticipation. It really re-emphasizes the me/kitty bond. He knows what’s coming, and he is prepared to love every minute of it. Then he squeezes his eyes shut and leans into “the pet”. It’s so darling.
